Was a shock when I was told the news. My friend Jackie and I used to travel down with Tina to the conventions for a few years. It was always an "adventure" especially on the way home when we were trying to keep Tina awake (yes, she was driving!!). I remember sewing her into her Freddie "It's A Hard Life" suit complete with eyes and feather, she really went to town on the fancy dress! I also remember when Tina actually had a very small glass of wine while we were getting ready to go the disco at the convention, she stood up and nearly fell on me...………….clearly not a drinker!! Bless you Tina, you had a heart of gold and although you spoke your mind you never had a bad word for anyone. Thank you for all you did and you will be missed. XXXX

So sorry to hear of Tina's passing in the latest QFC magazine. I remember her well, all the fun and laughter we had at our Queen Evenings and the many superb costumes she wore at the Queen Conventions. Those were the days of our lives!!

Much laughter together in the garden. Such an amazing attention to detail and a wealth of knowledge of the garden from a lifetime of close observation. Each plant nurtured and cared for. Each plant welcomed to the garden on its arrival as I was each time I visited to help.
